White Walkers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Baltimore, 5-3
|
The Buffalo White Walkers took Baltimore pitcher Jeremy Brody's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Baltimore Grounds. The final score had Buffalo getting past the Bullets, 5-3. Brody went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 4. Kyle Collins closed the door for Buffalo, picking up his 14th save of the year. Buffalo has an impressive 40-19 record.
Qing-nian Zexian, who finished 4th in the SL in on-base percentage with .417 in 2038, aided the Buffalo cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter drove in one run.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Zexian.
