Bullets Deal Pandas 4-3 Loss

The MSL Baltimore Bullets did just enough to secure a victory over the MSL Montana Pandas, 4-3, at MSL Montana Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Roberto Silva. Benedito Punahele got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 3 innings. The win takes MSL Baltimore to 2-5.
The outcome might have been different for MSL Baltimore, had it not been for Balltesar Montezinho, the 17-year old second baseman . Montezinho stroked a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put MSL Baltimore up, 4-3. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Tom Christensen, the MSL Baltimore manager.
