The MSL Long Island Lighthouse topped the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 9-5, in USSL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Long Island Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Long Island pitcher and Crisolles, France, native Joël Durand. The victory makes MSL Long Island 2-1.

Jesús Serrano was a prime contributor to the MSL Long Island win. He was 1 for 5, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the top prospect hit a 2-run single. It made the score 7-2, in favor of the Lighthouse.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Serrano.
