Dirty Reds Win at MSL Boston, 9-4
|
Andrew Perkins made an impact in the 9-4 MSL San Mateo win over MSL Boston. Perkins went 3-3 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Artie Chase got the win, improving to 1-3. He held the Patriots to no runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Dirty Reds now have a record of 15-30.
In the top of the fourth, with MSL San Mateo leading 1-0, the Patriots allowed the Dirty Reds to go up, 2-0, on a base hit and MSL Boston error.
