A 3-RBI performance from Jung-heum Kim, who is tied for 6th in the PMSL in total bases with 94, helped the MSL Hollywood Shredders beat the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 9-8. Ramón Salinas finished the game for MSL Hollywood and earned his 2nd save. The loss makes MSL Northern Virginia 19-20.

Ching-wei Wie, who is tied for 3rd in the PMSL in triples with 3, helped out the MSL Hollywood cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Wie.
