MSL Hollywood Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Gerardo Sotelo left his imprint on the 11-10 MSL Hollywood win against the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. Sotelo went 3-5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Ismael Mena in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ming Lin took the loss. The 8th-place Shredders are 17-21.

The Shredders were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when third baseman Alexandre Laurent turned a 1-0 sinker from Ming Lin into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double electrified the MSL Hollywood Ballpark denizens and sent the Shredders home with a thrilling 11-10 win.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Shredders manager Andrés Pérez. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
