Kingfishers Rally to Eke Out Win
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Buffalo White Walkers at Pittsburgh Grounds. Pittsburgh pitcher Martin Elzey held his own in the contest. The win belongs to Lloyd Natoff in relief. His record improves to 4-5. Isaac Patterson took the loss for Buffalo. Pittsburgh's record now stands at 20-36, placing them last in the Silver League.

The Kingfishers relied on designated hitter William Penn for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

Penn called the extra-inning win a "confidence builder."
