MSL Northern Virginia Gets 5-3 Win
|
The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids topped the MSL Boston Patriots, 5-3, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Boston Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of MSL Northern Virginia pitcher Victor Dávila. MSL Northern Virginia has now won 3 in a row.
Chi-yong Ku, the 18-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ku contributed a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put MSL Northern Virginia up, 4-0.
"Victor -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Rainbow Mermaids manager Jaime Torres. "He was the key to us winning."
