Grey Wolves Cut Down Rainbow Mermaids, 14-5
The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves bested the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids by a score of 14-5, with third baseman Stephan Tietmeyer getting the main credit. On the day, Tietmeyer went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Grey Wolves. MSL Vancouver pitcher Tony Castro got the win. He's now 2-0. Ronnie Vis was tagged with the loss. MSL Vancouver is now 5-4.

Tietmeyer had a big hit for MSL Vancouver with no one out in the bottom of the eighth. With MSL Vancouver leading 9-4, Tietmeyer hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Grey Wolves up, 12-4.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Tietmeyer.
