Adams, Rainbow Mermaids Clobber Grey Wolves, 11-1

The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids thumped the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 11-1, at MSL Vancouver Ballpark. Martin Adams was a big reason his team got the win. Adams was 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. MSL Northern Virginia, now 6-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
MSL Northern Virginia used a well-timed hit by José Ruíz to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Rainbow Mermaids ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 6 at-bats, it was important.
"I felt good up there," said Adams. "I saw the ball well."
