Morales Torches Shockers for 5 Hits
Juan Morales put on a hitting clinic today as the Capital Hill Interns dumped the Surprise Shockers 8-2 at Shockers Field.

The Capital Hill center fielder made Surprise defenders earn their pay, lashing Surprise pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Morales said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Juan Morales hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Brody Avery in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Thus far this season in 86 games Morales is batting .262 with 12 home runs, 35 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 68 hits in 260 at-bats.
