Canucks Squelch Warheads Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Moose Jaw Canucks went home winners at Foresters Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Herman Buker. Buker stifled the Amarillo Warheads, enabling Moose Jaw to grab the 6-0 win. Moose Jaw has now won 3 in a row.
The Canucks grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first. With one out, Dakila Marbibi hit a 2-run home run off Carlos Vidro, putting Moose Jaw in front, 4-0. For Marbibi, it was his 6th home run of the season.
"Herman did a tremendous job," said Moose Jaw manager Dan Fletcher.
