Fire Pull Even With 4-2 Victory

The Franklin Fire took Northwest Territory pitcher Gerbrand Rijsdijk's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Lawmen Ballpark. The final score had Franklin getting past the Beavers, 4-2. Rijsdijk went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 8. The winner in relief was Gerardo Álvarez. He is now 2-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. Chan-seok Yi recorded his 12th save for Franklin.
Franklin took a 4-2 lead on Theodore Daniels's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Daniels hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Northwest Territory pitcher Gerbrand Rijsdijk shaking his head.
"The vibe's good," said Franklin manager Rafael Villalobos. "We've got to keep it going."
With the win, Franklin pushed its record to 30-30.
