Shockers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Beavers
Getting a good performance from first baseman Luis Martínez, the Surprise Shockers defeated the Ballard Beavers, 7-6. Martínez went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Shockers. The winner in relief was Anastagio Puggioni.
