A 3-RBI performance from Gerben Pauw helped the Watford City Trash Pandas beat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 8-5. Watford City reliever Lao King picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Sebastian Brown absorbed the loss. Picking up the save was Ramón Gómez, his 2nd.

Watford City used the clutch hitting of Karst Lourens to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Trash Pandas ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Enjoyed this one," Pauw told the Watford City Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Puffer Fish, at 45-40, have lost 6 straight games.
