Hicksville Makes It 6 Straight with 9-7 Win
Hicksville Hounds starter Jorge Gonzáles pitched a strong game against the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish at Plattsburgh Park, leading the Hounds to victory, 9-7. Reliever Jason Ford picked up the win. His record improves to 4-6. Pavlov Gvozdev took the loss. Emery Kehler earned the save, his 12th, for the Hounds.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Franck Terwey came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Plattsburgh pitcher Pavlov Gvozdev, he hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hicksville on top, 8-7.

In postgame comments, Terwey said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

This win makes it 6 in a row for Hicksville.
