The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople defeated the Long Island Ducks, 10-3. Doing his part was third baseman Basilio Penni, who was 3-4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Long Island is now 6-4.

The Snowpeople got an important contribution from right fielder Greg Myers, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a first pitch fastball into right for a bases-clearing double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Snowpeople ahead, 7-1.

"It was a solid team effort," said Myers after the game.
