Baby Lakers Topple Trash Pandas, 10-5
|
Bompton first baseman Dai-lin Yen helped his team beat the Watford City Trash Pandas, 10-5. Yen, who is tied for 2nd in the SA- in extra base hits with 22, went 3 for 4 for the Baby Lakers. Bompton has rattled off 4 straight wins.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Paco Madrid? The Bompton second baseman had a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Baby Lakers on top, 7-4. For the game, Madrid had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"I like our moxie," said Baby Lakers manager Vernon Anderson.
