Yun Powers White Walkers Offense
|
The Buffalo White Walkers beat the Detroit Elite, 7-2, at Detroit Stadium. The win was due in part to first baseman Zhong-yi Yun, who slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Buffalo starter Qu-bing Li was credited with the win after throwing 97 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. The White Walkers have an impressive 23-13 record.
In the first inning, Yun had a 2-run home run for Buffalo. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the White Walkers on top, 2-0.
"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Yun said later.
