Ballpark of Albuquerque was the site of a tense game between the Germantown Uruguayans and Twinsburg Tigers.
The Twinsburg Tigers got a stellar performance from pitcher Norris Miller, who handcuffed the Germantown offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. John Armstrong came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 1-2.
Twinsburg used the timely hitting of Don Turner to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Tigers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Turner.
Germantown has now lost 6 straight.
