The Flint Crush got a superb performance from right fielder Travis Williams, but the Memphis Music still won the game, 9-5. Williams was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Reggie Schalk picked up the save, his 2nd. The Music now have a record of 15-12 with the win over Flint.

Memphis relied on the bat of Juan Benítez to get the win. The second baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Music ahead, 2-1. For the game, Benítez had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"I still think this team can play even better," Benítez told the Memphis Citizen.
