Yen Excels in 6-1 Bompton Win
|
A good performance from first baseman Dai-lin Yen helped the Bompton Baby Lakers defeat the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 6-1. Yen went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Baby Lakers. José Vargas recorded his 1st save for Bompton. Bompton is now riding a 3-game win streak.
In the top of the second of a scoreless game, Yen hit a 2-run home run to put his team ahead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Yen said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
