Lumsden Delivers Walk-Off Win for U-21
Sasha Mamchenko had a good game, but he could not keep the Quebec City Baby Blues from falling, 7-6, to the Athletic Club KC U-21 at Ballpark of Elkhorn City. The Quebec City right fielder went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 in the loss. Athletic Club KC reliever David Reyes picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Edgard Mendoza was saddled with the loss. The U-21 lead the Premier Low A by 3½ games.

Les Lumsden electrified the crowd in the bottom of the ninth when he took Quebec City pitcher Edgard Mendoza deep. His solo home run sent the U-21 home winners.

Lumsden said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
