Rams Deal Otters 6-4 Loss
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Ladue Rams and Tulsa Otters.
The Ladue Rams topped the Tulsa Otters, 6-4, in USPL Low A action at Ballpark of Hughesville. The standout performance belonged to Ladue pitcher and Evanston, Wyoming, native David Hudson. Hudson went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-5. Getting the save was Cisco Hernández, his 19th.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Paolo Roelands? The Ladue second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rams on top, 3-2. For the game, Roelands had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We had a good game plan," Hudson said, "and we were able to execute it."
The Rams raised their record to 38-46.
