The Long Island Lighthouse had to overcome a fine effort from Buffalo pitcher David O'Farrell to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Beyond the Wall. O'Farrell went 6 innings and allowed no runs. The save went to Miguel Rodríguez, number 8 for him. With the win, Long Island pushed its record to 16-16.

Long Island used the clutch hitting of Krystof Melichar to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Lighthouse the lead, 3-2. For the game, Melichar had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.
