|
Quebec City beat Tulsa on the strength of starter Jeff Vázquez's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Baby Blues improved to 38-36.
Quebec City used the clutch hitting of Iván Vega to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We had a good game plan," Vázquez said, "and we were able to execute it."
