The Beaumont Crossbeaus beat the Quebec City Baby Blues, 8-4, at Dylan Park. Tu Che, in particular, was impressive. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Beaumont is now 30-40.
Beaumont used the bat of Alan Clark to get the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crossbeaus ahead, 6-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Che.
