Iván Marrero was a vital contributor to the 8-4 Plattsburgh victory over Bethlehem. The Puffer Fish center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Bethlehem now is 1-5.

Marrero had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-2 forkball from Matt Smith, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Puffer Fish a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Marrero.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Marrero said. "We did a good job of that today."
