Baby Blues Shut Out Rams, 4-0
|
Baby Blues third baseman Iván Vega put his stamp on his team's 4-0 win over the Ladue Rams. Vega went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times for Quebec City in the contest. Quebec City's record now stands at 34-26, placing them third in the Premier Low A.
Darren Overton helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give Quebec City a 1-0 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Overton told the Quebec City Daily News.
