U-21 Roll to 8-1 Win Over Harbor Whales
The Athletic Club KC U-21 picked up a win at Ballpark of Elkhorn City, taking down the Greenport Harbor Whales, 8-1. Starting pitcher Miguel Martínez was a big reason why. Martínez went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-1. Athletic Club KC is now 30-15, 2½ games up in the Premier Low A.

Carlos Román took Roberto Chaumond deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the U-21 on top, 2-1. In all, Román had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
