The Chicago Tula wasted an inspired, 6.1-inning effort from starter António Pineda, falling 2-1 to the Idaho Falls Chukars at Idaho Falls Park. The Chukars raised their record to 40-38.

Idaho Falls won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Fatin bin Isra'il on the mound for Chicago, center fielder Hugo Mahé hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Chukars fans to their feet.

Mahé said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
