Late Rally by Crossbeaus Secures 5-3 Win
Beaumont Crossbeaus starter Gary Britton was in fine form against the Greenport Harbor Whales at Ballpark of Robbins, leading his team to a win, 5-3. Beaumont is now 12-15, Greenport 12-15.

Beaumont used the clutch hitting of Leon Wright to capture the win. The catcher drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Crossbeaus the lead, 4-1. For the game, Wright had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Wright.
