Ogallala Octopi starter Dionísio Zagallo pitched a strong game against the Tulsa Otters at Ballpark of Hughesville, leading the Octopi to victory, 6-2. Zagallo got the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 2 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Zagallo allowed 2 runs. Ogallala, with the win, climbs to 8-15.
Ogallala used the bat of Manuel Ortíz to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Octopi ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"It was a solid team effort," said Ortíz after the game.
