Rhinos Pick Up 6-4 Win
|
The Redwood Rhinos bested the Tulsa Otters, 6-4, at Ballpark of Hughesville. Dong-su Yun was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Erik Hayden, the winner, improved to 1-2. He held the Otters to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 4. The win gives Redwood a record of 10-8.
Redwood grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Yun, who is tied for 9th in the PA- in RBI with 16, hit a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Rhinos out in front, 4-2.
"I like our mindset right now," said Redwood manager Dave Parrish.
