Harbor Whales Lose at Home, 3-2, to Tulsa
|
Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Tulsa Otters and Greenport Harbor Whales.
The Tulsa Otters did just enough to sneak past the Greenport Harbor Whales, 3-2, at Ballpark of Robbins. Tulsa pitcher António Pineda, in particular, had a standout performance. Ben Frazier got credit for the save for Tulsa. It was his 3rd of the year.
Tulsa used the bat of Bill Jackson to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Otters ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"We had a good game plan," Pineda said, "and we were able to execute it."
Greenport falls to 10-4.
