4-2 Loss Extends Ogallala Skid

Fort Knox and Ogallala duked it out and the Centennial came out victorious.
The Ogallala Octopi got a sterling performance from pitcher Alberto Nieves, but the Fort Knox Centennial still prevailed, 4-2. Nieves threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs. Dave Pickett closed it out for his 2nd save.
The Centennial had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Fort Knox, with one out. Ogallala, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Zi-xing Juan dug in at the plate, but on a 1-1 forkball, he flied out.
The victory makes Fort Knox 9-3.
