Riding the 2-hit performance of the 25-year old shortstop Ray Winters, the Cleveland Browns stopped the Montana Pandas, 4-1. Steven Carlson earned the save for Cleveland, his 3rd of the year. The win gives Cleveland a record of 10-10.

Tied up with the Pandas in the top of the fifth inning, the Browns got a boost from right fielder Carlos Velardes. With a runner on 2nd, Velardes saw a 3-1 fastball from Grant Gremel and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Cleveland on top, 2-1.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Winters said in reaction to the win.
