Kingfishers Lose to Lighthouse, 10-2
|
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers took it on the chin, losing 10-2 to the Long Island Lighthouse. John Lee pitched a strong game for Long Island. For the Kingfishers, the loss makes them 8-12.
It could have been a different outcome for Long Island, had it not been for Habib Othman, the 28-year old center fielder . Othman contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Long Island up, 1-0.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Lee.
