Lighthouse Lose to Kingfishers in Walk Off
The Pittsburgh Kingfishers picked up a win at Pittsburgh Grounds, taking down the Long Island Lighthouse, 5-4. Starting pitcher Craig Culver was a big reason why. The win gives Pittsburgh a record of 8-11.

Roy Howard was the walk-off hero for Pittsburgh. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kingfishers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Howard told a Pittsburgh Times reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
