Yellows Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Godfathers
The Pontiac Godfathers had to overcome a good performance from Yucca Valley pitcher Chris Thompson to claim a 3-2 win at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Thompson went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Hung-chang Bi, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 4 hits. Yucca Valley now has a 5-game losing streak.

Pontiac took a 3-2 lead on Danny Warren's 18th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Warren hit in the top of the 16th, left Yucca Valley pitcher Katsunosuki Hirayama visibly frustrated.

Warren called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
