The Delmarva Gallos topped the Pontiac Godfathers, 7-4, in USSL Single A action at Pontiac Copperdome. The standout performance belonged to Delmarva pitcher and Oranjestad, Aruba, native Oliver Quested. Quested picked up the win for Delmarva, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 7-4. The Gallos sit in 6th place in the Silver A with a record of 44-46.

Delmarva used a well-timed hit by Ken Brown to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Gallos ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Enjoyed this one," Quested told the Delmarva Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
