Schmitt Now 6-5 After Subduing Caterpillars

The Levittown Blue Dragons picked up a win at The Cave at Levittown, knocking off the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 3-0. On the mound for Levittown was right-hander Damien Schmitt, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win elevated the Blue Dragons to 46-44.
Schmitt, a native of Civrieux-dAzergues, France, was dealing all game. He kept Grand Forks hitters off-balance, while giving the Blue Dragons 7 quality innings. Schmitt threw 86 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Schmitt told the Levittown Times.
