The Myrtle Beach Seahawks grabbed a win, 4-2, over the Idaho Falls Chukars at Seahwaks Stadium. Myrtle Beach left fielder Ernesto García was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Teddy Barnes came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.2 innings. His record now stands at 4-2. The Seahawks saw their win-loss record go to 28-18. At the same time, the Chukars fell to 24-22.

Myrtle Beach took a 3-2 lead on Joshua Sheppard's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Idaho Falls pitcher Grady Booth in the bottom of the eighth.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," García told the Myrtle Beach Observer.
