Blue Dragons Deal Yellows 5-2 Setback
|
Levittown starter Damien Schmitt had a strong outing against the Yucca Valley Yellows at The Cave at Levittown. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Schmitt, the winner, moves to 5-5. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 1 walk. The win puts Levittown at 43-42 this season.
Dale Hogan, who is tied for 9th in the SA in stolen bases with 21, helped out the Levittown cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman drew 2 walk in 5 trips to the plate.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Hogan.
