Flores Goes Deep Twice in 6-2 Pandas Win
|
The Montana Pandas trumped the Echo Park Lakers, 6-2, at LA Forum. Montana center fielder Roberto Flores was terrific. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Echo Park, now 4-12, continues its tough start.
Tomás Torbado didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to put Montana on top, 2-0.
Flores called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
