Walk-Off Win Makes Delmarva 40-40
|
Delmarva picked up a win at The Cage, toppling the Kennesaw Jets, 5-3. Pitcher Oliver Quested was one of the reasons the Gallos triumphed. Delmarva reliever Nick Cummins picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Noah Blin was saddled with the loss. The victory gives Delmarva a record of 40-40.
Delmarva won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two outs and Noah Blin on the mound for Kennesaw, center fielder Ken Brown hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Gallos fans to their feet.
"Enjoyed this one," Quested told the Delmarva Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
