Hawks Deal Blaze 6-4 Loss
The Laredo Hawks downed the South Beach Blaze, 6-4, at The Ballpark on the Beach. Elliot Banks led the way, going 2-for-4 for Laredo. Laredo pitcher George Butler got the win. He's now 5-0. Jorge Enríquez was tagged with the loss. Dan Watson sewed up the save, his 5th.

Banks put Laredo up, 5-2, when he hit a 2-run home run off Jorge Enríquez in the top of the fifth. His 3rd home run of the season helped the Hawks capture the win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Banks told the Laredo Today.

Laredo is now 17-9, 2½ games up in the Premier A.
