Losing Streak Continues for Jets with 4-3 Loss to Yellows
|
The Yucca Valley Yellows did just enough to sneak past the Kennesaw Jets, 4-3, at Jets Stadium. Yucca Valley pitcher Sun-ho Yang, in particular, had a standout performance. In 6.2 innings, Yang surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The Jets, now 19-50, have lost 10 in a row.
Raúl Hernández, who is tied for 7th in the SA with a .812 OPS, contributed to the Yucca Valley win with a solo home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
