Skidding Blue Dragons Lose 6th Straight
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Yucca Valley Yellows and the Levittown Blue Dragons, Lee tai hoi Chen was the difference-maker. The Yucca Valley right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Rizal Barerra snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 1-0 on the season. The losses continue to mount for Levittown, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
Ron Jiménez was the walk-off hero for Yucca Valley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Yellows pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Chen said.
