Naomichi Kodo had a good game, but he could not keep the Pontiac Godfathers from falling, 6-5, to the Kent Comets at Fuller Park. The Pontiac left fielder was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Kent reliever Chor-min Kim got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Claudio Aguilar was tagged with the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Kent.

José Silva was the walk-off hero for Kent. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Comets first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Silva.
